Smart Horizontal Mode

Thanks to the combination of distance and tilt measurement, you can determine the horizontal distance easily and with absolute precision, even over long distances or obstacles.

Smart Multifunctional end-piece

Whether measuring out of corners, slots or from edges, with this end-piece you are prepared for all measuring situations. The instrument detects the end-piece automatically, which helps to avoid expensive errors.

Smart and Easy data transfer with NFC

NFC (Near Field Communications) offers seamless connectivity with the DISTO Plan app, eliminating the need for pairing. Simply place your DISTO near the smartphone to transfer measurements. Data can also be transferred using Bluetooth®.

Smart Horizontal Measurements

Precision straight line measurements even if you have objects, machinery or furniture obstructing the laser dot.

When it’s not possible to shine the Laser Dot in a straight line for precision measurements. Follow the following steps:

1. First, fully extend the DISTO’s measuring end piece.
2. Then, place the end piece against the object your measuring from.
3. Select the Smart Horizontal Measuring mode from the menu.
4. The DISTO will now activate the inbuilt inclination tilt sensor, showing you an angle percentage on the screen.
5. Shine the laser dot over or under an obstruction at any angle, and the DISTO will calculate the true flat-line horizontal distance,  the angle of the slope (if required), and the slope length. All at the press of one button!
